Brow Threading
Precise, beautifully defined brows using a traditional hair-removal technique.
What is brow threading?
Brow lamination ___ £40
Brow threading uses a twisted cotton thread to lift unwanted hairs from the root with accuracy and control. It allows your brow artist to create clean lines and refine the shape without using wax or heat on the skin.
The treatment is quick and can be a good option for clients who prefer a highly precise finish. Results generally remain neat for around 2–4 weeks, depending on your natural hair-growth cycle.
How to prepare for your appointment
- Let your brows grow for around 2–3 weeks where possible and avoid tweezing immediately beforehand.
- Arrive with clean, dry skin, free from make-up, oils and self-tan around the brows.
- Avoid strong exfoliation and active skincare around the brow area for 48 hours beforehand if your skin is sensitive.
- Avoid sunburn, sunbeds and treatments that leave the skin irritated before your appointment.
- Tell your brow artist about sensitive skin, active breakouts, cuts, infections, recent cosmetic procedures, prescription skincare or previous reactions.
- Discuss your preferred shape at the start of the appointment and bring a reference image if helpful.
Please note: Threading may need to be postponed if the skin is broken, inflamed, sunburnt or affected by an active infection. A patch test is not normally required for threading alone because no tint or chemical product is used; if tint is included, a tint patch test is required 48 hours before your appointment.
Brow threading aftercare
For the first 24 hours
- Avoid touching the area with unwashed hands.
- Avoid make-up, oils, perfumed products and active skincare directly over the brows.
- Avoid hot showers, steam rooms, saunas, swimming, sunbeds and intense exercise.
- Do not scrub, exfoliate, pick or scratch the treated area.
- Use a cool compress or a gentle soothing product recommended by your brow artist if needed.
Temporary redness, minor bumps or sensitivity can occur and usually settle within a few hours. Contact your brow artist if irritation persists or worsens, and seek medical advice if needed.

It is best to avoid make-up directly over the treated area for 24 hours.
A patch test is not usually required for threading alone. If your appointment includes a brow tint, a tint patch test is required 48 hours beforehand.
Yes, subject to consultation and a successful tint patch test completed 48 hours before the appointment.
