Which set should I choose?
Classic lashes
One extension is applied to one suitable natural lash. This creates a neat, natural-looking enhancement and is ideal for clients who want extra length and definition.
Hybrid lashes
A blend of Classic extensions and handmade or premade volume fans. This creates added texture and fullness while remaining softer than a full-volume set.
Russian lashes
Lightweight volume fans are applied to suitable natural lashes. This creates a fuller, fluffier and more dramatic finish. The fan size and weight must be chosen to protect the natural lashes.
Before Your Lash-Extension Appointment
- Miss Beautique requires you to complete our consultation and mandatory patch test 24–48 hours before your lash-extension appointment.
- Arrive with clean, dry lashes and no mascara, eyeliner, strip-lash glue, eye cream or oily products around the eyes.
- Remove contact lenses before treatment and bring glasses if needed.
- Avoid curling your lashes on the day of your appointment.
- Shower beforehand if convenient, as we may ask you to avoid water, steam or heavy sweating for a period after treatment.
- Limit caffeine immediately beforehand if it makes your eyelids flutter.
- Allow enough time to lie still with your eyes closed. Classic sets are often quicker than Hybrid or Russian sets, but timings vary.
- Tell us your preferred length, curl, fullness and the look you would like to achieve. We will assess your natural lashes and may recommend a lighter or shorter style to keep them healthy.
Aftercare for Classic, Hybrid & Russian Extensions
- Miss Beautique requires you to follow the curing instructions we provide for the adhesive used. If advised, avoid water, steam, saunas and heavy sweating during the initial curing period.
- Clean the lashes gently every day with a lash-extension-safe cleanser. Rinse carefully and pat dry with a lint-free cloth; do not leave makeup, oil or debris at the lash line.
- Brush dry lashes gently with a clean spoolie, supporting them from underneath.
- Avoid rubbing, pulling, picking or twisting the extensions. Never remove them yourself.
- Avoid oil-based products around the eyes unless we have confirmed that they are compatible with your lash adhesive.
- Avoid waterproof mascara, mechanical lash curlers and cotton wool that can catch on the extensions.
- Try not to sleep face-down or press lashes into the pillow.
- Book your infills at the interval we recommend, commonly every 2–3 weeks. If too few extensions remain, Miss Beautique may require you to book a full new set rather than an infill.
Lash Lifts
Traditional Lash Lift
A traditional lash lift reshapes your natural lashes over a silicone shield to create a lifted, curled effect. No extensions are added. A tint may be included if suitable and agreed during consultation.
Korean Lash Lift
Our Korean lash lift technique usually focuses on lift from the root, beautifully separated lashes and a soft, natural finish. Some systems use cysteamine-based formulas and conditioning steps, but products and methods vary. A Korean lash lift is not automatically suitable for every client, so we will assess your lashes carefully and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Before Your Lash-Lift Appointment
- Miss Beautique requires you to complete our consultation and mandatory patch test for the lifting, setting, tinting and conditioning products 24–48 hours before your lash-lift appointment.
- Arrive with clean, dry lashes and no eye makeup, mascara, lash serum, oily cleanser or eye cream.
- Remove contact lenses before treatment.
- Do not use a lash curler on the day.
- Please tell us about previous lash lifts, recent extension removal, lash damage, eye sensitivity or any products or medicines that may affect the eye area.
- Avoid booking immediately after another chemical lash treatment. We will assess whether your lashes are healthy enough for us to proceed safely.
- Tell us whether you would prefer a subtle lift, a stronger curl or a root-lifted Korean-style finish. We will recommend the best option based on your lash length, direction and condition.
Aftercare for Traditional & Korean Lash Lifts
- Miss Beautique requires you to follow the exact aftercare we provide for the system used. Advice about water, steam, heat, makeup and oils can differ between treatments.
- If instructed, keep lashes dry and avoid steam, saunas, swimming, heavy sweating and eye makeup for the first 24 hours.
- Avoid rubbing, pulling or sleeping with the lashes pressed out of shape during the initial aftercare period.
- After that period, cleanse gently and brush lashes into place with a clean spoolie.
- Use a lash conditioner or serum only if we recommend or approve it. Stop using any product that causes irritation.
- Avoid frequent waterproof mascara and harsh removal, which can dry or stress the lashes.
- Do not repeat the service too soon. Most lifts soften as the natural lashes grow out, commonly over about 6–8 weeks, but timing varies.
Frequently asked questions
Classic uses one extension per suitable natural lash. Hybrid combines Classic lashes with volume fans. Russian uses multiple very fine extensions arranged in a fan for greater fullness.
Extensions shed gradually with your natural lash cycle. Many clients book infills every 2–3 weeks, although retention varies with growth cycle, aftercare, lifestyle and adhesive.
A traditional or Korean lash lift commonly lasts around 6–8 weeks, gradually relaxing as lashes grow and shed. Results vary between clients.
Any lash treatment can cause damage if unsuitable products, excess weight, poor isolation, overprocessing or incorrect removal are involved. At Miss Beautique, we assess your natural lashes, use suitable timings and extension weights, and will not proceed if we believe a treatment is unsuitable.
Yes. A patch test is necessary for all lash treatments at Miss Beautique and must be completed 24–48 hours before your appointment. If the required patch test has not been completed within this timeframe, we will be unable to carry out the treatment. Extension adhesive must never be placed directly on the skin for testing. Please remember that a negative patch test cannot completely rule out a later sensitivity or allergic reaction.
Extensions should be cleaned daily once the adhesive’s initial curing instructions have been followed. Avoid waterproof mascara and check that products are extension-safe. After a lift, follow the system-specific waiting period; afterwards, mascara and normal gentle cleansing are usually suitable.
No. Pulling, picking or using unapproved removers can damage natural lashes or irritate the eyes. Book professional removal.
Please wait until we confirm that enough new, healthy lash growth is present. This is often around 6–8 weeks, but we may recommend waiting longer if your lashes are dry or damaged.
Not necessarily. Our Korean lash lift style usually aims for a soft root lift and may use different shields, adhesive-free steps or cysteamine-based systems. A traditional lift may create a more uniform curl. We will recommend the option that best suits your lash condition and desired finish.
Please contact Miss Beautique and avoid rubbing your eyes or adding products. Significant swelling, pain, discharge, breathing difficulty or vision changes should be assessed medically; severe symptoms require urgent help.
Before booking: If you are unsure which treatment is right for you, please arrange a consultation with Miss Beautique. We will assess your natural lashes, discuss your desired result and maintenance preferences, and help you choose the most suitable option.
